Six things to consider when choosing between a city wedding venue or a country venue.

1: Overall convenience.
City wedding venues are more convenient being that they are in town but you are usually in a bland rectangular room. There is also very little room to walk around in and hardly any room for backing away to enjoy a little quiet time. Country venues on the other hand mean you might have to drive a little bit more to get to the venue itself, but there are many benefits. Such as plenty of room to move around, spaces of peace and quiet, and awe-inspiring scenery.
2: Kiddos
While the intercity wedding venue might be attractive on the outside, there isn't as much room in the venue for kids to run and play, other than running around the tables. Country wedding venues can offer acres for kids to run and play games and other outdoor activities, all the while leaving their parents and other adults to relax and enjoy their evenings .
3: Parking
With city venues you will have to take into consideration how many people are expected for the venues parking facilities in addition to off street parking, which can fill up quickly. Most country venues have the capacity to fit upwards of 100 cars in a designated area as well as additional parking elsewhere.
4: Noise and close down times.
City wedding venues usually shut you down at 10 o'clock, with no exceptions. Country venues, on the other hand, might have a "quiet time" of 10 o' clock but won't shut you down at that time, meaning you can be a party animal all night long just as long as you keep the noise to a reasonable volume.
5: Setup and planning.
Majority of city venues only allow you to set up and decorate, party, and then clean up the same day of your event. As is the case with some country venues, but for the most part they will allow you to come in the day before to set up, have rehearsals, relax and have dinner, taking the stress off the wedding day so you can relax and enjoy yourself without any worries. Then come back the next day to complete your clean up.
6: Scenic views and opportunities for dramatic photographs.
In a city wedding venue, a sterile building doesn't lend itself to any kind of breath-taking photos, so you might have to make arrangements to go to a park or someplace in the country to take pictures. How inconvenient as well as being potentially stressful, trying to wrangle everyone to the same place at the same time. Country venues will tend to give you more scenic opportunities to take pictures at, such as acres of fields, trees, hillsides with a view of the sunset, etc. A convenient one stop shop for everything your Instagram worthy photos could need.
That are just a few things to consider when choosing between an intercity wedding venue and a country venue.
